ABOUT THE COLLECTION
In 1912, pioneering watchmaker Louis Cartier designed the original tortoise-inspired watch, the Tortue. At a time when most watches were round, its accented form and unprecedented design went on to shape a classic of Cartier watchmaking.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Tortue watch, medium model, Manufacture mechanical movement with manual winding, calibre 430 MC. Case in 18K rose gold, octagonal crown set with a faceted sapphire, silvered guilloché dial with sunray effect, sword-shaped hands in blued steel, strap in brown alligator skin, ardillon buckle in 18K rose gold, water-resistant to 30 metres. Case dimensions: 39 mm x 31 mm, thickness: 8.6 mm.
