PORTOFINO AUTOMATIC MOON PHASE 37 - The moon phase display is not just an aesthetic masterpiece Ð it also reminds us that, long before time could be mechanically measured, it was the moon that showed us the passing of time. The stainless-steel version with a silver-plated dial has a bezel set with 66 diamonds and 12 precious stones on the dial that give it an attractive sparkle. The sun_-pattern finish on the dial reflects light in a myriad of different ways and makes the light appear to move around in circles when the watch is tilted from side to side, lending the timepiece a unique charm. The slightly recessed inner circle adds a sense of structure to the dial. The timepiece is water-resistant to 3 bar and powered by the 35800-calibre mechanical automatic movement. The phase of the moon shown in the display can be adjusted using a correction button at Ò2 o clockÓ. The central seconds hand is stopped using the crown and the sapphire glass has an antireflective coating on both sides. The watch is fitted with a dark blue leather strap from the House of Santoni.
