ALTIPLANO: THE ULTRA-THIN WATCH THAT EMATES ELEGANCE In the ultimate expression of luxury watches by Piaget, the Altiplano ultra-thin watch was conceived to offer a backdrop of purity and absolute refinement for its movements. THE PARED-DOWN DESIGN OF THE PIAGET ULTRA-THIN WATCH These designer watches feature elegant lines, elevated by emblematic finishes and echoed by the identifying codes of the dial: off-centre displays, alternating double and simple indexes and “baton” hands. Born in 1957, these bold yet timeless signatures for Swiss luxury watches discretely attract every gaze. The Altiplano ultra-thin watch takes its name from the eponymous plateau nestled in the heart of the Cordillera Andes, whose purity of open, untouched land is directly echoed in the collection’s elegant watches. The ultra-thin movements that dance on its lines are the most slender, as seen in the Altiplano Ultimate Concept and its mechanical 900P-UC movement. Only 2 mm thick, the Altiplano watch is our thinnest luxury watch of all time.

Altiplano Skeleton High Jewellery watch, 40 mm. Case in 18K white gold set with 346 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.33 ct), 40 baguette-cut diamonds (approx. 3.22 cts). Buckle set with 24 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.05 ct). Crown set with a Suiffé-cut diamond (approx. 0.06 ct). Sapphire crystal case back. Manufacture Piaget 1200D1 ultra-thin automatic skeleton mechanical movement in 14K white gold (3 mm) set with 292 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 0.88 ct) and 11 black sapphire cabochons (approx. 0.17 ct). Discover this 40 mm Altiplano High Jewellery watch, an ultra-thin skeletonised white gold diamond watch. Combining ultimate thinness, a breathtaking skeleton movement and incredible high jewellery, this Swiss self-winding watch is a work of art. Our highly accomplished craftsmen have excelled to a new level in watchmaking with the 1200D1 movement, the diamond-set version of the 1200S1. This ultra-thin luxury watch measures only 6.1 mm, housing one of the world's thinnest self-winding diamond-set skeleton movements. The hand-finishings on this exceptional watch continue to the bevelling and drawing that meets Haute Horlogerie standards. Every inch has been meticulously crafted, from the individual screws set with cabochon-cut black sapphires to the hand-engraved bridges of the movement. The bezel and very movement itself have been set with diamonds.
