The Excalibur Blacklight is inspired by the art world and reveals the innovation capacity of Roger Dubuis. During the day, colored micro-beams are spread inside the calibre, placed like rays of light going through the mechanism. Under UV light, the micro-beams are luminescent, like neon tubes glowing in a two faces sculpture revealing its full potential only under specific circumstances. Bringing together both art and innovation is what Roger Dubuis calls Art Technologies and allows the Geneva manufacture to offer exclusive watches in limited editions. Besides, the Excalibur Blacklight reflects the gender fluid approach of the designs created by Roger Dubuis in the world of Haute Horlogerie. The new development of the Excalibur collection. A calibre with improved performances: increased power reserve up to 72 hours thanks to a new gear train toothing and escapement optimization through its geometry. Improved durability thanks to new lube, and increased precision thanks to 4hz frequency. Following the colorful new chapter of the Excalibur Blacklight, micro-beams are tri dimensional to fit our iconic star shape, and enhanced by UV paint to glow under UV light. This color-block edition: Flame and Passion, is reaching new heights with seasonal color combination available online only.
