One of the most striking feline creations of 2022 comes from Jaeger-LeCoultre, who bring the bold and powerful shape of the tiger to their signature Reverso collection. The original new Reverso Tribute Enamel “Tiger” (ref. Q39324K1) combines classic oriental motifs with finely crafted Swiss technology and finishing, offering a truly elegant take on this relatively young annual watchmaking tradition. Turn the watch case over to reveal a magnificently engraved tiger. The polished surface of the tiger skin and the contrasting matte textured stripes reflect and refract the light, creating the illusion of movement and strength, as if this year’s animal were leaping out of the black Grand Feu enamel. The elegant simplicity of the main dial with dagger-shaped indexes and signature Dauphine hands perfectly complement the rose gold case. An outer chemin de fer minute track and a gilded Jaeger-LeCoultre emblem at 12 o’clock complete the dial, adding a luxurious glow to the opening images. The watch is made exclusively to order and offers buyers the opportunity to personalize the standard caseback pattern with enamel color options. This model is powered by the in-house caliber 822A/2, which is hand-wound and provides a respectable 45-hour power reserve. The watch case measures 27.4 mm by 45.5 mm.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION
At the beginning of the 1930s, Reverso was born of a challenge, that of designing a model that could withstand the polo matches of the British Army officers in India. Its dial smoothly concealed by reversing the case, to reveal a back that fully protects the face from possible mallet strokes. It's worth thinking about...
